The Consul from the Belgium Embassy will meet Belgian citizens residing in Pattaya and Rayong on Thursday and Friday May 13 - 14. Anne Hassett, aka Acushla, a world-renowned psychic, has decided to venture to Pattaya from May 11 to 15. The executive committee of the Pattaya Sports Club is pleased to announce that the 2004 Annual General Meeting of the Pattaya Sports Club will be held at the Town-In-Town Hotel, Pattaya Central Road, at 10 a.m. on Saturday June 26. Elective members are encouraged to attend if at all possible. (Please note that only elective members can attend this meeting.) For those elective members unable to attend the meeting, proxy forms are now available at the PSC office from 10 a.m. until closing.

Clubs

Pattaya City Expats Club meets every Sunday at Henry J. Bean’s Restaurant at the Amari Orchid Resort, at the north end of Beach Road. A buffet breakfast is available from 9.30 a.m. The meeting starts at 10.30 a.m. and finishes about 12-noon. There is ample parking available in the parking area across from the beach and next to Henry J. Bean’s on the left side of Beach Road, just after the turn.

The German speaking chapter of the Asian Business Club, a platform to exchange information, will host Phakkhinee Jamnongsri of Schenker (Thailand) Ltd. to speak on the topic of ‘Import, Export, Logistics’ on Tuesday May 11. Members and non-members alike are welcome. All events will take place at the Woodlands Resort, Naklua Road, North Pattaya. The event starts at 7:30 p.m. Please note that all events are in German language. The Asian Business Club Thailand accepts as members business people of any nationality, gender or belief, provided that they either run their own business or are employed in a senior position.
