H.R.H Princess Soamsawalee visited “25th Bangkok International Motor Showand stopped to admire cars of the Yontrakit Groups including the KIA Car Booth. She was welcomed by Chottipong Leenuttapong (2nd right) Executive Assistant Manager of Y.M.C Assembly Co, Ltd. and Krittika Soontorntam (right) Managing Director of Nanglinchi (2001) Co., Ltd.


On Songkran Day, Chanyuth Hengtrakul, Advisor to the Minister of Tourism and Sports and his wife Wilawan performed the bathing ceremonies of the Buddha image at the Nongprue Temple in Banglamung district.


The Dusit Resort Pattaya was the proud recipient of the Thailand Hotel Standard 5 Stars rating. Aran Chalermrittichai (right) Director of Administration accepted the award on behalf of the hotel from H.E. Sontaya Kunplome, (left) Minister of Tourism and Sports.


Woodlands Hotel & Resort was awarded an official 4 stars international standard rating by the ‘Foundation for Standards and Human Resources Development in the Hospitality Industry’, which oversees the first official star rating system for Thai hotels. H.E. Sontaya Kunplome, (left) Minister of Tourism and Sports presented the award to Ms. Alisa Phanthusak, assistant managing director.


During the Songkran festivities staff of the the Amari Orchid Resort gathered to pay respect to the management team, led by Dominik Stamm (seated far right) general manager, Orapin Musiknavabutr (2nd right) and Michael Goetz (3rd right) executive assistant manage. The ‘Rod Nam Dam Hua’ ceremonies were performed by pouring lustral water into their hands wishing them good health and asking for their blessings.

Mrs. Kathleen Heinecke, (centre) Director of Minor Holding (Thai) Limited presents a certificate of recognition, a cash prize and Ripley’s crown to Mr. Kittirach Sookpoon a.k.a. Miss Kittita Kittiwattana, a contestant in the Miss Tiffany Universe 2004 contest and also this year’s Ripley’s Most Beautiful Wo-Man. Mr. Kittirach is congratualed by Somorn Naksuetrong (far left) and former beauty queens. This unusual beauty pageant is organized annually at the Royal Garden Plaza by Ripley’s Museum to promote tourism to Pattaya.
