Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra presided over the closing ceremony of the 21st Thai Chamber of commerce seminar held at the Ambassador City Jomtien Hotel recently. He was welcomed by Dr. Art Taolanont (center) President of the Thai Chamber of Commerce and Anusak Rodboonmee (right) Asst. General Manager.


Khun Rachain Kluanklad (left) welcomed H.E. Laurent Aublin the French ambassador and French Consul, Claude Saint-Martin (3rd-4th left) to the Balcony Restaurant on his visit to Pattaya last week. Others on hand to welcome them were Khun Jirarat Thesrak, (2nd left) and Poonpol Kamutira member of the Chonburi Provincial council and members of the Pattaya City administration.


The Honorable Professor Vyacheslav Lebedev, Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation, recently paid a visit to Pattaya and the Royal Cliff Beach Resort for talks with fellow lawmakers from the Chonburi courts. The management and staff of the Dusit Resort Pattaya Hotel led by General Manager Chatchawal Supachayanont, together with Dusit Hotels & Resorts, Royal Princess Hotels & Resorts and Thai International Rent A Car Company recently gave the respirators and oxygen tanks to Nava Hospital in Nakornpanom Province. The Woodlands Hotel & Resort recently welcomed a group of travel agents from Czechoslovakia for Thai cooking lessons and were welcomed by Executive Chef K. Wisit and General Manager, Stephan Bringer.


Former permanent undersecretary of the Ministry of Defense, General Teeradej Meetien (2nd left) and Mayor Pairat Suthithamrongsawat (2nd right) jointly presented cash prizes and the winning trophies to the top 3 winning teams of The Eatable Sweet Krathong Competition organized at the Royal Garden Plaza, Pattaya. The General and the Mayor were standing among other distinguished judges, including a well-known food critic and TV personality, Ajarn Yingsak Jonglertjesadawong (far left) and the plaza’s own general manager, Amorn Amornkul (far right).
