Juergen Lohr, a renowned businessman from Pattaya died from a heart attack last Wednesday, May 14 at the age of 55 years, only a few days before his 56th birthday.

Juergen Lohr June 6 1947 - May 14 2003

An only son, born on June 6, 1947 in Kassel, Germany, Juergen spent his life in the world of business. In 1986 he moved to Thailand and found time for leisure. Having 2 children, Karl, 37, and Regina, 35, from a previous marriage, Juergen married a Thai lady, Uraiwan, and had a son, Hans, with her.

After eight years of leisure life, he founded the Lohr Trade & Consulting PTS in 1994. His eldest son Karl joined the company in 1997 and will now manage the company after his father’s sudden death.

Juergen Lohr was easygoing and always ready for a joke. Being a member of the Rotary Club Jomtien Pattaya since 1997, he was always willing to lend a hand, and funds, for those in need.

Juergen leaves his wife Uraiwan, his three children, his two grandchildren and his mother (92) behind. Pattaya’s society, his friends and his family will miss him dearly.
