Freemasons embrace the blind children of Pattaya

The tradition of the outgoing Right Worshipful Master of Lodge Pattaya West Winds (LPWW), to undertake a charitable cause upon leaving the Chair of King Solomon, was certainly not only upheld but, rather, surpassed last Saturday, as RWM Peter Malhotra at the end of two years of office and with a full complement of Lodge Brethren regaled the children of the Pattaya Redemptorist School for the Blind at the institution they call home in Naklua.

Jesters MC vice president and president, Pete and Woody plus 28 other members from Pattaya went all the way up to Chiang Mai to present their colleagues from the Northern Comets with a 10,000 baht donation. The handover took place during the farewell evening of the ‘Chiang Mai Bike Week’, and all proceeds of the event were donated to several worthy causes in the northern region of Thailand.

Well the day is over and the race is run, and according to the P.S.C. Treasurer the day was a great financial success, but how did we get to this point? Not I assure you without a tremendous amount of hard work and planning by a group of dedicated personnel led by the P.S.C. Golf Chairman Herbie Ishinaga and his ‘volunteers’.
