Marion Vogt hands over the “Chaines”

The final event for 2002 for the local members of the world-wide Chaine des Rotisseurs was the ceremonial welcoming of new members (“Intronisation”) and the celebratory dinner afterwards. During the evening, which was held at the Dusit Resort, Marion Vogt, the outgoing “Bailli” for the Pattaya “Bailliage” handed over the “Chaines” of office to the Bailli for 2003, well known restaurateur Louis Noll (Mata Hari).

Deputy Prime Minister Jaturon Jaisaeng (right) presided over the opening ceremony of the 1st Asian Congress of Pediatric Infectious Diseases, along with event organizer and president of the Pediatric Diseases Organization of Thailand, Dr. Somsak Lolekha, held at the Pattaya Exhibition and Convention Hall (PEACH). Nearly 1,000 participants attended.

Chris John out-duels Pat Donnelan for TAGGS Invitational 2002 Championships

Chris John scored 41 Stableford points, but more importantly he scored 14 over the last 6 holes to edge out Pat Donnelan in a count back to win the 2002 TAGGS Invitational Golf Tournament played at Phoenix Country Club on Friday, December 6.
