Minister of Tourism and Sports gives his blessings

This week marks another milestone in the re-birth of Pattaya as the premier international resort city in Thailand. Despite the recent bombing in Bali and threat of terrorist activity, it is business as usual for the Skål tourism group, when the 'heavy-weights' in the local tourism and hospitality industry address the World Congress of Skål International, one of the world's most prestigious travel conferences, on behalf of Thailand at Cairns in Northern Australia, November 3 - 8.

Rotary Club Jomtien-Pattaya visits Redemptorist School to make safety checks and monitor construction improvements

Bruno Keller, president of Rotary Club Jomtien-Pattaya recently led members to inspect the ongoing construction at Pattaya’s Redemptorist School and make a check of fire exists and staircases. The club has been lending financial help to the school over the years and has presented money donated to support the expansion of center’s capacity to house more children.

Noonit Tawapee becomes first woman to don the coveted TQ Masters Green Jacket

Noonit Tawapee became the first woman ever to don the coveted Green Jacket when she recorded 46 Stableford points and won the 9th TQ Masters golf tournament played at Plutaluang on Friday, October 25. Noonit shot a gross 84 off her 22 handicap, and along the way also won the ladies long drive trophy.
