Clubs

The Association of Filipinos in Thailand – Eastern Chapter (AFT-ERC) will meet this Saturday, September 14 at 6 p.m. The get together will be held at the Hopfbrew House on Soi Yamato, Beach Road.

The German Thai Chamber of Commerce will meet at the Moon River Pub & Restaurant on Friday 13 September at 18:00 hours for the Eastern Seaboard Stammtisch.

The Pattaya International Ladies Club will host their next Coffee Morning on Tuesday September 17th from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at the Balcony Restaurant, North Pattaya Road (almost opposite City Hall). Join in for some delicious French Patisseries, make new friends on a friendly social morning and members can pick up your monthly newsletter ‘hot off the press’.

Want to taste exclusive (and expensive) wines? The Royal Cliff Wine Club is hosting an exclusive wine tasting session at 6 p.m. on Wednesday 18th of September at the Grand Ballroom, Royal Cliff Grand. These wines will come from the Bordeaux region of France and feature the 2000 vintage with some of the wines being tasted costing well over 120,000 baht. On this occasion the Wine Club will also celebrate the launch of the Royal Cliff Beach Resort’s premium Royal Cliff Cellar Selection Wines. Members who have yet to make their reservations should do so before the 15th of September as places are strictly limited; however, the Royal Cliff Wine Club is still accepting a few members. Pattaya Expats Club – expats helping expats. Sunday brunch meeting at the Amari Orchid Resort near the Dolphin Roundabout from 10.30 a.m. in the Orchid Room. This Sunday 2 guest speakers will give further information regarding living legally and healthy in Thailand. There is also an open forum by Dave Watson following for members to ask anything and everything about living in Pattaya. Friday the 13th September sees the next Poacher’s Night at Shenanigans Pattaya with a game Carvery and buffet, including crocodile, ostrich, pheasant, frog, wild boar, Chinese duck, quail, etc., a double Johnnie Walker Black Label to start you off, and an Irish Coffee to finish you off at the end of your dinner. Events

The Jester’s Children’s Fair is this weekend! This year’s fair is at the Diana Driving Range located just off North Pattaya Road. Be sure to take the family along for a fun day out with lots of fun, games and prizes to be won on September 15th. There is free transport from the Diana Inn every hour and for those a little further out from 10 a.m. there is a bus from the ‘KR Bar (approx 50mt from the beach) in Jomtien which will travel on the road back to Pattaya, then stop at Shenanigans, top of Soi Regent Marina by the bowling alley, Tesco-Lotus on North Road and then into the fair from 3rd Road. The vehicle will do the same route all day up until 5 p.m. so people can also ride back into town. This is courtesy of to Phil Rose from CBI/ST Ltd. Then for the adults, it’s the Jester’s Charity Pub Night at Shenanigans on September 21st. Grand raffle tickets are now on sale at Shenanigans, Pattaya Mail or through any committee member.
