Students from Pattaya schools displayed their talents via the 3rd Annual Father’s Day Painting Contest, held in honor of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s 73rd birthday. The theme for this year’s contest was “Paintings for our Father”.

Pattaya mayor Pairat Suttithamrongsawat presided over the opening of the contest on December 1 at the Pattaya Center Festival Central Business Center. Pattaya city council member Pisai Phanomwan Na Ayuthaya helped organize this year’s competition.

Students from primary and secondary school grades were given the chance to exhibit their talents in both water and oil paintings. The painting contest was divided into different categories and levels. Winners of each category received certificates of achievement from the mayor and cash awards to support their educational requirements.
