The PPWF will be holding their next meeting on
February 8 th at 19:00
hours. The group will first visit the Royal Garden Spa, then
from there they will pay a visit to Johnny Live where one lucky
girl will receive a completely “new head”. Dinner will be held
afterwards at the Benihana Japanese Restaurant.
Events
Don’t forget the Cyclo Dash & Children
Fair on February 5 th
from 9:00 a.m. at St. Andrews School. First, it will be a lot
of fun; second, the money they raise will go to help the Camillian
Center and in particular to get medicine for a little girl, called
Maria, who was born with HIV. A free bus service will be provided from
Delaney’s leaving at 7:00 a.m. to the school,
returning at 4:00 p.m.; admission to the fair is 20 baht for adults
and free for children. Of course, the Delaney’s tent at the fair
will be open all day.
Happy Family Hour every Saturday at 7:00
p.m. at BJ’s Restaurant on the corner of Beach Road & Sri
Nakorn Center. These special events are held to further the cause of
harmony, understanding and charity!

Celebrations
Chinese New Year on February 5 th
will be celebrated everywhere in town. Here are places where the Year
of the Dragon will be welcomed in with style:
The Amari Orchid Resort welcomes in the
Chinese New Year in traditional Chinese style, so much so, in fact,
those who attend will believe they are in China. Many different kinds
of entertainment are on offer including fireworks, cabaret,
spectacular Dragon Dance and a delicious international buffet. All for

The Pacific Park Sriracha is holding a very
special Chinese New Year celebration starting at 8:00 a.m. when dragon
dancers offer sacrifices and blessings to their ancestors at the
praying hall. At 9:00 a.m. the parade starts there through Sukhumvit
Road to Pacific Park. Highlight is a Dragon Dance from 12:30 to 13:30.
The dragon is 45 meters long and it takes 300 people to perform this
dance. In the evening at 19:00 hours a Chinese dinner is on the
schedule complimented by a lion and dragon show. On the same day,
February 5th, the Pacific Park is holding a “Pacific Funny
China Kid’s Party”. The Pacific Park is very busy these days,
since on February 5th a Trade Fair starts, which will last for 1
month, until March 5th.
