Activities draw hundreds

Over 500 people from Pattaya participated in the World Smoke-out Day Campaign, walking from the Krua Surf Restaurant on Jomtien Beach Road, along the vehicle-free walkway to Pattaya Park Hotel.

Hundreds of residents and tourists took part in the World Smoke-Out Day on May 31st. Activities included a march, volleyball games and a concert on the beach.

Activities during the event included men’s and women’s volleyball competitions and a mini concert in front of the Pattaya Park Hotel.

Pattaya City, in conjunction with the Wongphaithun Company Ltd., distributors of Reebok, organized the events, labeled Reebok Relax Action 1 day on the World Smoke-out Day, May 31st.

The volleyball competition drew 32 teams, with men and women under the age of 20. In addition, a game was played between the Star Jam Team and the R.S. Promotion Team.

The Chonburi team of Krydsana and Thiphawan took the women’s title, while Air Force Team 2 took the men’s championship.
