Working towards eradicating child prostitution

Shopping malls the world over have become the meeting places of today’s youths. Unfortunately, certain adverse byproducts of this universal gathering have emerged.

With this large congregation of youths, the inevitable forming of youth gangs is prevalent, as well as the convergence of ill-intentioned adults who prey on the less fortunate children, using these children for the purpose of child prostitution.

Suphadit Maneeratcharatsri, the Managing Director of the Royal Garden Shopping Plaza, has been working hard to eradicate these problems from his mall. He realizes, however, that this aspect of his job is not an easy one.

The Welsh win at Siam

There certainly was plenty at Siam Country Club in the PSC Pattaya Golf Society when the Welsh occupied three of the top four places.

A good winner was veteran Colin (no good boyo) Morgan, who is in his 70th year, with a net -1. He seems to get better with age - just like a good wine.

This year Thailand wilted in what the Meteorological Department described as the hottest summer in 40 years, with temperatures ranging from 38 to 43 degrees Celsius in some provinces. Rivers and wells dried up, leaving 69 out of the country’s 73 provinces in the grip of drought.
