The annual Colors of the East festival went off without reported problems, giving a lift to low season tourism in Pattaya.

The June 1-4 festival on Pattaya Beach drew crowds of locals and tourists to 120 booths offering food, services and deals.

Locally made products, such as herbal remedies, were sold alongside fresh seafood and other local dishes. Tourism companies from Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat hawked tours and accommodations deals.

The festival is organized by the four Eastern Seaboard provinces to drive tourism.
