The Bluffs Ho Tram Strip, a stunning new links-style layout designed by the legendary Greg Norman, has become the latest club from Vietnam to join a diverse array of golf courses on the ever-growing Golf Citizen network.

Located 80km southeast of Ho Chi Minh City in the coastal province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau, the just-opened Bluffs Ho Tram Strip has already become a favorite with local golfing enthusiasts and a course widely regarded as a ‘must play’ when visiting Vietnam thanks in large part to its spectacular setting.

“As a golf course designer, you only get the opportunity to work with sites as good as this maybe a few times in your career,” said Norman, a two-time major champion who has now conceived 87 courses worldwide.  “As you walk down the fairways here and you look at all the undulations – most of those were exactly the way the original form (of the land) was.  So it’s almost the least disturbance approach you can possibly do.”

Routed over and around towering seaside sand dunes, The Bluffs Ho Tram Strip takes advantage of the landscape in a way that provides golfers one spectacular view after another.

One of the most breathtaking vantage points is at the par-3 4th hole, whose green is perched precariously on a bluff back-dropped by miles of dense national forest, the East Sea and the 20-story Grand Ho Tram Strip, Vietnam’s first international luxury casino resort.

The Bluffs Ho Tram Strip is the second golf club in Vietnam after Montgomerie Links to join Golf Citizen, taking the overall tally of golf courses in the tee-time booking platform’s portfolio to 26.

Launched in 2011 by ‘golf in Dubai,’ Golf Citizen aims at realizing golf tourism potential by collectively promoting richly diverse golf courses on its network.  For more information, go to website: https://golfcitizen.com.
