Golf from Siam Country Resort Pattaya
This week we had our outside trip to Soi Dao. We left our resort on the 16th October early morning and arrived around 11 am. After a small lunch we started our first round and the course was in very good condition.

Most of us had an average game except Jonathan Pratt who played very consistently and won with 39 stableford points while in second came Sam Gettinby with 31 points.
Only two nears to the pin for Jonathan and Neil Harvey.
On the second day we started early in the morning and had good conditions for golf. The scores improved today and it became a battle between Dave Smith and Jonathan Pratt. Both were in good form but at the end it was Dave who kept his head cool and won with 39 points. Jonathan was second with 38.
The near pins went to Jonathan, Dave and Paddy Devereux.
Thursday, Oct. 19, Pattaya C.C. – Stableford
On Thursday we went to Pattaya Country Club on a nice sunny day. The course was in quite good condition but the greens were not good — many were sanded and the speed was different on every green.
Stan Rees showed his good form today and won with a strong 40 points. Second was Jonathan Pratt with 37 and third Sam Gettinby with 35.
Only 2 near pins today, for Jonathan Pratt and Willem Lasonder.
