Thursday, Nov. 9, Wangjuntr – Stableford
We didn’t hold our normal Tuesday game, because we played with 2 flights in the PSC competition at Burapha. We were succesful with 3 third places in the A, B and C group for Dave Smith, Brett Gale and Willem Lasonder.
On Thursday we went to Wangjuntr with some Australian guest players and played the Highland course, which was in very good condition and we had sunny weather with a cool breeze.
This course is not easy but we had players in good form. The man of the day was Stan Rees, winning with 44 stableford points and finishing seven ahead of Brett Gale in second while Neil Harvey was third with 35 points, beating Martin Hayes on count-back.
The near pins went to Neil Harvey, Martin Hayes, Dave Smith and Brett Gale.
