Queen crowned golfing champion

A young golfing star from Pattaya has won a major competition in the United States.

Queen, who studies at Garden International School (GIS) in Ban Chang near Pattaya, shot a remarkable 14-under par to take the title in the Girls 11-12 category at the World Stars of Junior Golf tournament held recently at Angel Park Golf Course in Las Vegas.

Queen finished an astonishing 22 shots ahead of the runner-up after the three completed rounds.

The diminutive golfing starlet has studied at GIS since 2008 and won many major tournaments both in Thailand and abroad.  She is currently ranked number 1 in the country for her age and is certainly one to watch for the future.
