Monday, August 3, Pleasant Valley – Stableford

A 45 minute trip up Route 7 brought us to Pleasant Valley were a quick check-in saw us tee off on the first 20 minutes ahead of schedule. The weather stayed fine with sunny skies and just some faint thunder from the north late in the round. The course was in good shape but wet from a Sunday downpour.

Back in the clubhouse after a round of 3 hours and 30 minutes, the winner was declared to be Nigel Perry with a fine 40 points, six ahead of second placed Tom Cotton, with Dave Richardson taking third on 32.
Thursday, August 6, Khao Kheow – Stableford
1st Jon Swanson (25) 38pts
2nd Dave Richardson (28) 33pts
3rd Lassie Pettersson (21) 27pts
Khao Kheow B & C courses were the challenge on Thursday and we got off 40 minutes early under overcast skies and with some wind. The course was ok with indications that it had been closed earlier in the week following a tropical downpour not seen in some time.
We whistled around in about 3 hours and 45 minutes and Jon Swanson continued his winning ways at this course by taking the day’s honours with a fine round of 38 points. Dave Richardson came in second with 33 points and Lassie Pettersson was third on just 27.
