Monday, Sept. 15, Pleasant Valley – Stableford
Pleasant Valley was the game today up Route 7 for 43 minutes. Swift check-in and off the first tee 30 minutes early under overcast skies and muggy conditions for the whole round. The course was in good condition but very soggy with the big rain Sunday night. A golfer from another group did a bunker rake count and there were 2 on the front side and 3 on the back. So much for good bunkers.
Back in the clubhouse after a round of 4 hours and 20 minutes a welcome went out to Oddur Olafsson from Iceland.
Karl Beter & Jan Lovgreen
The winner was Karl Beter with a fine 38 points. Mike Winfield was second with 34 points, whilst Oddur Olafsson came third with 32 points, and Niels Hansen fourth on a countback from Steen Habersaat both with 31 points.

Thursday, Sept. 18, Bangpakong – Stableford
Bangpakong was the game today, up Route 7 in the rain most of the way for about 70 minutes. Easy check-in and off the first tee on time under overcast skies and a sprinkle or two for the round. The course was very wet but in fine condition, as there was not even a plugged ball or mud on the ball the whole round.
The course is celebrating its 24th anniversary giving a B300 green fee voucher to each golfer, good until 30 November.
Back in the clubhouse after a round of 4 hours and 30 minutes (5 balls ahead) the winner was Jan Lovgreen with a fine 40 points. Oddur Olafsson came second with 37 points and Mike Winfield third with 34 points.
