Golf from Siam Country Resort Pattaya
Tuesday, Feb. 28, The Emerald – Stableford
On Tuesday we went with 4 groups to Emerald. It was a warm day with lots of sun and we missed the cool breeze. The course and the greens were in good shape so we had perfect conditions for good results.
Stan Rees showed the best consistency on the day and won with 39 stableford points. Two points behind in second was Bob Edwards with 37 points and Neil Harvey placed third with 35.
The near pin awards went to Daniel Oshiro, Bob Edwards, Dave Smith and Neil Harvey.
Thursday, March 2, Greenwood – Stableford
Greenwood was our venue on Thursday and we went there once again with 4 groups. The course was in excellent condition with very good fairways while the greens were running fast and fair. It was a beautiful day sunny with a nice breeze blowing.
Today it was Patrick Devereux who performed best and won the day with 41 points. In second came Jonathan Pratt with 39 points and third was Dave Smith with 38, beating Martin Hayes on a count back.
Near pin prizes were won by Bob Edwards (twice), Jonathan Pratt and Daniel Oshiro.
