A smaller field than normal today and only had one division out.
In his last game this trip before returning to Norway, Roar Berger won the day with 34 points ahead of Paul Butler in second, who beat Tom Murphy 15/14 on the back nine c/b after they both came in with 31 points each.
Near pins went to (Div. 1) Dave Horne and Chris Voller and (Div. 2) Burnie Sinclair.

Dave Horne birdied the 4th and Chris Voller the 17th to record the only ‘2’s of the day and split the pot.
Friday, August 7, Eastern Star – Stableford
Back to two divisions today and playing off handicap 9, Bill Bertram topped the podium in division 1 with 39 points. Chris Voller came in second after edging Mikael Andersson 15/13 on count back after they both shot 33 points.
In division 2, Frank Kelly beat the organizer 19/18 on c/b after they both came in with 36 points each and Iain Walsh trailed in third with 31.
Near were claimed by (Div. 1) Mikael Andersson, Bill Bertram (2) and Arthur Hancock, and (Div. 2) Ken Miller.
Mikael Andersson birdied the third hole to take the ‘2’s pot for himself.
