Tuesday, October 20 – Pattana Golf Course
Allan Cassin led the way as MyBar Golf Society tackled Pattana’s B and C loops. Despite threatening skies, the weather remained favourable, although wet fairways offered little roll.
Consistent play and assured putting helped Cassin (13) secure victory with 38 Stableford points, ahead of Bob Edwards (11) on 36. Peter collected the wooden spoon, while near pins went to Cassin, Edwards and Mark Bromwich.
Thursday, October 22 – Pattaya Country Club
Twelve golfers enjoyed blue skies and a refreshing breeze at Pattaya Country Club, where the course remained wet but in reasonable condition.
Seamus O’Connor (26) edged Gary Lees (22) by a single point, winning with 34 Stableford points to Lees’ 33. Scores were modest despite the pleasant weather.
Returning after several weeks away, John Pegrum received the wooden spoon. Tony Oakes claimed one near pin, while Lees collected two.
