BANGKOK, Thailand – The Department of Business Development (DBD) is advising businesses and the public affected by flooding that business registration, financial statement filing, shareholder-list submissions and requests for corporate certificates can all be handled online. DBD Director-General Kittiwat Patchimnan said the online services are designed to keep businesses operating without interruption while providing faster and more convenient access regardless of location or office hours.
Businesses with headquarters in disaster-affected provinces can use the DBD Biz Regist digital system to register new partnerships and limited companies, make changes, dissolve companies and complete liquidation procedures through www.dbd.go.th under “Online Business Registration.”
Users can register and verify their identity online through services including the DBD e-Service application, ThaiD and Paotang. Company names can be reserved through an automated system with immediate results, while registration information can be submitted using electronic forms.
For assistance with business registration, the DBD provides advice through its 1570 Call Center and Line Official Account @dbd1570.
Financial statements and shareholder lists can be submitted 24 hours a day through the electronic DBD e-Filing system. Further information is available through Line @sxw0580y, the DBD 1570 Call Center, or directly at 02 547 4377 and 02 547 5978. Questions can also be sent by email to [email protected].
Corporate certificates and certified copies of documents can be obtained electronically through DBD e-Service. The service for electronic corporate certificates operates from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. every day, including public holidays, while requests through DBD e-Service can be made 24 hours a day.
The documents can be used for business transactions immediately without waiting for government offices to open.
Further information is available through the DBD e-Service application for iOS and Android, the DBD 1570 Call Center, or by calling 02 547 5994, 02 547 5160, 02 547 4367 and 02 547 4387. Enquiries can also be sent to [email protected].
The DBD said the digital services are intended to give flood-affected businesses continued access to essential government services while reducing the need to travel to government offices.
