BANGKOK, Thailand – Grand Palace & Temple of the Emerald Buddha — Visiting Hours, 6 April 2026

The Bureau of the Royal Household announces the visiting arrangements for the Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha on Monday, 6 April 2026, in observance of the Royal Ceremony for Chakri Memorial Day — commemorating the founding of the Chakri Dynasty.

∙ Operating Hours:

Ticketing services will be available from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with the following specific arrangements:

**Temple of the Emerald Buddha: The Main Chapel will be closed to the public for the entire day.

**Prasat Phra Debidorn (The Royal Pantheon): The public is warmly invited to pay their respects to the Royal Statues of the Preceding Monarchs from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

**Dusit Maha Prasat Throne Hall: Paying respects to the Royal Remains of HM Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother will be permitted from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Please note that the screening point at the Na Phra Lan Tunnel will close strictly at 11:00 AM.



∙ Dress Code:

Formal attire is required for entry. Gentlemen are not permitted to wear jeans. Ladies are required to wear a polite skirt or traditional Thai sarong.
