Their Majesties the King and Queen will preside over the Chakri Memorial Day ceremony at Dusit Maha Prasat Throne Hall in the Grand Palace, as the nation gathers to honor King Rama I and the founding of the Chakri Dynasty.

BANGKOK, Thailand – The public is invited to respectfully welcome Their Majesties the King and Queen as Their Majesties preside over the royal ceremony commemorating Chakri Memorial Day, honoring His Majesty King Buddha Yodfa Chulalok the Great and the founding of the Chakri Dynasty.

​The royal ceremony will be held at the Dusit Maha Prasat Throne Hall in the Grand Palace on Monday, April 6, 2026. Their Majesties are scheduled to arrive at 5:00 p.m.

​Attendees are encouraged to wear appropriate attire and arrive early for security screening at designated entry points around the Grand Palace. (NNT)
