PATTAYA, Thailand – Pattaya is preparing to host a new community event titled “New Life,” aimed at creating opportunities for renewal and offering a range of activities for Christian communities and the wider public.
A planning meeting was held on April 3, at the City Hall, chaired by Deputy Mayor Damrongkiat Pinijkarn on behalf of Mayor Poramet Ngampichet.
The session was attended by city officials and representatives from the BR Institute, who presented the concept and overall framework of the event. Discussions focused on program design, event management, safety measures, and facilitation for both residents and tourists.
The “New Life” event is scheduled to take place on July 4, at Pattaya Central Beach (opposite Central Pattaya shopping mall), featuring live music performances, faith-based songs, inspirational activities, and Christian baptism ceremonies, alongside other community-oriented programs designed to encourage participation from the public and visitors.
Deputy Mayor Damrongkiat said the event reflects Pattaya’s commitment to creating opportunities for renewal across economic, social, and spiritual dimensions, while promoting inclusive participation from all sectors, including Christian communities.
He also emphasized that the city will ensure strict safety measures and full public facilitation to guarantee a smooth and well-managed event that benefits the wider community.
