BANGKOK, Thailand – Experience one of Thailand’s best stargazing destinations at the “Dark Sky Star Party 2026 – Season 2,” taking place on 21 March 2026 from 17.00 to 23.00 hr at Khao Rom Viewpoint Campground in Khao Yai National Park, Nakhon Ratchasima Province.
The event is presented by the Khao Yai Tourism Association in cooperation with the National Astronomical Research Institute of Thailand (Public Organization), or NARIT, and Khao Yai National Park.
Highlighted activities include the following:
– Stargazing through more than 50 telescopes;
– Beginner-friendly stargazing sessions, including storytelling about the stars by astronomy experts;
– Viewing the 7% crescent moon;
– Astrophotography workshop—Learn how to capture the night sky by mobile phone;
– Night safari program to observe wildlife after dark;
– Camping under the stars within the national park.
