PATTAYA, Thailand – Two British men were left unconscious following a street fight with a muscular foreigner in the early hours of Wednesday near Walking Street Pattaya in South Pattaya.

Police from Pattaya City Police Station were alerted to the altercation at around 6:30 a.m. on March 5. The call was received by Jittisuk Suthinitatwong, deputy inspector of patrol operations, who dispatched officers along with rescuers from the Sawang Boriboon to investigate.

At the scene, a crowd of tourists had gathered in the middle of the street. Two injured foreign men were found lying unconscious on the roadside.

One of them was identified as Lutfi Khan, 29, a British national, who suffered a dislocated hip and multiple abrasions. The second man, also believed to be British and aged around 25–30, had a head wound, several abrasions, and was reportedly heavily intoxicated.

Rescue workers provided first aid before transporting both men to Pattaya Bhattamakun Hospital for treatment.

The alleged opponent, a muscular foreign man in his 30s wearing a gray sleeveless shirt, remained at the scene and cooperated with police. He claimed the injured men had attacked him first, forcing him to defend himself. Officers escorted him to the police station for questioning and background checks.

A witness, Kittirach Sangprasert, 32, said the confrontation appeared to start inside a beer bar before spilling onto the street. According to the witness, two or three men attempted to gang up on the larger foreigner, who was accompanied by his Thai girlfriend.
