BANGKOK, Thailand – The Pure Heart Foundation has partnered with Thai Smile Bus Company Limited (TSB) and other supporting organizations to restore flood-damaged schools in Chana District, Songkhla Province, after severe flooding in 2025. Led by foundation president Thienrat Nawamawat, the effort is rehabilitating five affected school buildings to restore them to safe, functional learning environments.
TSB contributed premium exterior paint for Ban Non School, Ban Taling Chan School, Ban Khao Chan School, Suttirak School, and Wat Ban Rai School. Volunteers repainted classrooms and exterior walls under the campaign theme “Repair – Rebuild – Refresh with Color,” improving the condition and appearance of the facilities.
The project mobilized a wide network of participants, including skilled technicians, inmates from a rehabilitation correctional facility, labor program graduates, volunteer members of the defense corps, and students from Hat Yai Technical College. Teams also assembled desks and chairs and repaired damaged educational equipment to help restore classroom readiness.
Organizers said the effort helps students return to clean and secure learning environments while restoring school facilities and supporting communities recovering from flooding. (NNT)
