BANGKOK, Thailand – The Public Relations Department has launched “PRD Election & Referendum 69,” confirming the readiness of its central and regional media networks to deliver continuous coverage of the general election and constitutional amendment referendum on February 8. The announcement was made at the New Media Operations Center, with Director-General Sudruetai Lertkasem presiding over the launch.

The campaign sets out an integrated reporting plan to provide timely, accurate, and accessible information throughout election day, from the opening of polling stations through vote counting and the release of official results. The department said the simultaneous nationwide election and referendum have drawn strong public attention, increasing the need for clear and reliable public information.

Coverage will be led by the department’s core platforms, including the National Broadcasting Services of Thailand, Radio Thailand, and the NBT Connext digital channel. Regular programming will be adjusted to allow for continuous updates, analysis, and field reporting from constituencies nationwide, supported by online livestreams and regional correspondents.

In addition, the department will operate the PRD Dashboard, a digital system that enables the public to track election and referendum results in real time, down to the local level. The platform will present vote counts in a clear and precise format as results are reported across the country.

All reporting will be coordinated through the Election and Referendum Public Relations Center, which will compile and verify information from provincial media units to ensure consistency and accuracy. The department invited the public to follow developments through its television, radio, and online channels, as well as via the PRD Dashboard at election69.prd.go.th throughout election day. (NNT)
