Their Majesties grant 2,500 royal blankets and medical supplies to Phetchaburi residents for winter relief

Phetchaburi Governor Pol. Lt. Phopchanok Chalanukroh presides over a ceremony to present 2,500 royal blankets, along with medicines and medical supplies granted by Their Majesties the King and Queen, to residents across eight districts of Phetchaburi province to ease winter hardship and health risks.

PHETCHABURI, Thailand – Their Majesties the King and Queen have granted 2,500 sets of blankets, along with medical supplies and medicines, to residents of Phetchaburi province to support public welfare during winter. The assistance was provided to ease hardship and reduce health risks associated with cold weather.



Phetchaburi Governor Police Lieutenant Phopchanok Chalanukroh, who also chairs the Rajaprajanugroh Foundation Committee for the province, presided over the ceremony to present the royal items.

During the ceremony, the governor conveyed appreciation for the royal benevolence and stated that Their Majesties continue to extend care to citizens affected by natural disasters across Thailand. Winter conditions can pose health risks, prompting the distribution of blankets, medicines, and medical supplies to residents in need.


As part of the proceedings, the governor placed the royal blankets on ceremonial trays before the royal portrait of His Majesty the King, before handing them to district chiefs or their representatives from all eight districts. The districts included Cha-am, Tha Yang, Ban Laem, Ban Lat, Kaeng Krachan, Khao Yoi, Nong Ya Plong and the capital district for onward distribution to other residents.

In addition, royal blankets were presented to 100 residents attending the event, reaffirming royal care and concern for the well-being of people across the country. (NNT)
