
BANGKOK, Thailand – Thailand remained firmly atop the SEA Games 2025 medal table in the latest standings, holding a wide lead with 185 gold, 120 silver, and 79 bronze medals. The results, announced on December 17 at 10:00 p.m., kept the host nation well clear of its closest rivals as the competition moved toward its final stages.
Indonesia stayed in second place with 72 gold medals, followed by Vietnam in third with 64. Singapore ranked fourth with 46 golds, while Malaysia placed fifth with 41. The Philippines stood sixth after earning 37 gold medals.
Among the remaining nations, Myanmar collected three gold medals, and Laos secured two. Brunei earned one gold medal, while Timor-Leste remained without gold but recorded three bronze medals.
Several events produced shared podium finishes. Joint gold medals were awarded in three finals, including the women’s canoe double 200 meters and two men’s gymnastics apparatus events in the vault and horizontal bar.
