CHIANG MAI, Thailand – A video of a young woman collapsing while dancing in a Chiang Mai club has gone viral online, highlighting the sudden dangers of heart conditions. Doctors confirmed that her death was caused by an irregular heartbeat.
The clip was posted by her friend, Facebook user “Max Wowwow,” who captured the woman’s final moments on November 15, around midnight, during her birthday celebration. The video shows her bending down briefly and then collapsing to the floor, with the recording cutting off amid shouts of alarm from bystanders.
Max and other friends immediately attempted CPR and rushed her to Lanna Hospital. Doctors reported that her initial condition showed extremely low blood sugar and dangerously low platelet levels, with faint breathing. Despite emergency care, she passed away.
Medical examination confirmed the cause of death as an irregular heartbeat, less severe than a full cardiac arrest but fatal. Max posted the video as a cautionary tale, urging people to appreciate life, avoid anger and conflict, and live fully each day. In a final message, he expressed love for his friend and hoped she would rest peacefully.
