During a special cabinet meeting on September 24, Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul appointed Traisulee Traisoranakul as Secretary-General to the Prime Minister, making her the youngest ever to hold the position and tasking her with managing general affairs and advising the premier.

BANGKOK, Thailand – During a special Cabinet meeting on September 24th, chaired by Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul, a resolution was passed to appoint Traisulee Traisoranakul as the Secretary-General to the Prime Minister. This key position is responsible for supporting the Prime Minister’s work, managing general affairs, and coordinating directly with the premier.

The role also involves collecting, analyzing, and filtering various information to provide recommendations for the Prime Minister’s consideration and directives.

At 35 years old, Traisulee is the youngest person to hold the position of Secretary-General to the Prime Minister. She is the daughter of Wichit Traisoranakul, the President of the Sisaket Provincial Administrative Organization. A graduate of the Faculty of Political Science from Thammasat University, her political career began as a Deputy Government Spokesperson during the administration of former Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha. She later served as Secretary to the Minister of Interior and Spokesperson for the Ministry of Interior under the governments of former Prime Ministers Srettha Thavisin and Paetongtarn Shinawatra.
