
PATTAYA, Thailand – The much-loved Chonburi Buffalo Racing Festival is back for its 154th edition, promising a week of excitement, tradition, and community celebrations from 28 September to 6 October 2025. The festival will be held in front of the Chonburi District Office and Chonburi Provincial Hall, with the main Buffalo Racing Day scheduled for 6 October.
The festival will kick off with a colorful parade featuring 13 decorated carts, showcasing the province’s cultural heritage and its official slogan. Following the parade, the official opening ceremony will welcome visitors to enjoy a full day of traditional activities, competitions, and performances.
Spectators can look forward to thrilling buffalo races across various categories, as well as contests highlighting buffalo health, beauty, and creativity. In addition, traditional sports competitions and the Miss Country Girl pageant will add to the festive atmosphere, celebrating both local talent and rural culture.
Adding a modern twist to the traditional festival, attendees can also enjoy a live performance by popular Thai artist Tree Chaiyanarong, ensuring entertainment for visitors of all ages.
