BANGKOK, Thailand – Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul has received a congratulatory phone call from Singapore’s Prime Minister, Lawrence Wong, following his appointment to office.
In a social media post detailing the conversation, Prime Minister Anutin stated that he affirmed to Prime Minister Wong that the Royal Thai Government is committed to strengthening its collaboration with Singapore. He specifically highlighted a focus on pursuing mutual opportunities in five key areas: the digital economy, financial technology (fintech), food security, energy, and education.
The Prime Minister also disclosed that the two leaders are scheduled to meet in the coming weeks to continue their discussions. (NNT)
