PATTAYA, Thailand – A motorcycle accident on Third Road near the Laem Bali Hai overpass left a young British man and his Thai girlfriend seriously injured late last night. The incident occurred at 10:40 p.m., prompting an immediate response from Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Rescue Center and medical teams from Pattaya City Hospital.
At the scene, a white-and-black Honda CBR 300, driven by 19-year-old British national, lay badly damaged. The man sustained multiple abrasions, while his 20-year-old Thai girlfriend, riding as a passenger, was critically injured, experiencing severe pain and a low pulse. Both were stabilized and rushed to Pattaya City Hospital.
Nearby, a Honda Lead 125 driven by 18-year-old man, later identified as Vorarit, suffered front-end damage. He received minor injuries. The British man stated he was riding home with his girlfriend when Vorarit’s motorcycle suddenly entered the road from a side alley, leaving him no time to brake. Vorarit said he had checked both directions before turning but did not see Seaman’s motorcycle approaching at high speed.
The Pattaya City Police have documented the scene and collected evidence. CCTV footage from nearby cameras will be reviewed to determine the exact cause of the collision, with legal proceedings to follow based on the findings.
