PATTAYA, Thailand – Pattaya Mayor Poramet Ngampichet has reiterated the city’s commitment to the safety of students and their families by ensuring smooth traffic flow during school hours.

Mayor Poramet assigned the City’s Public Order Department, under the Pattaya City Clerk’s Office, to provide daily traffic assistance at schools under Pattaya’s jurisdiction. Officers assist teachers, parents, and students each morning and afternoon, ensuring safe and orderly arrivals and departures.



The initiative is part of Pattaya City’s broader effort to prioritize public safety, particularly for the city’s younger residents, while promoting an organized and accessible environment around school zones. Authorities continue to coordinate with school staff and local communities to address traffic concerns and enhance overall safety.

Mayor Poramet emphasized that the city views these measures as essential for both the welfare of students and the peace of mind of parents, reflecting Pattaya’s ongoing commitment to community care.
