With a 2-billion-baht budget approved, Thailand will host the three-day electronic dance music festival annually at Chonburi’s Wisdom Valley, just 15 minutes from central Pattaya, boosting the region’s reputation for world-class events and tourism infrastructure.

PATTAYA, Thailand – Thailand is set to become the first Asian country to host the world-renowned electronic dance music festival “Tomorrowland” in 2026. The Thai cabinet has approved a budget of 2 billion baht (approximately USD 61.5 million) to hold the festival annually for five years.

According to Tourism and Sports Minister Sorawong Thienthong, Tomorrowland Thailand will be held each year from 2026 to 2030. The three-day festival will take place from Friday to Sunday, with the inaugural edition scheduled for December 2026 at Wisdom Valley in Chonburi Province, just a 15-minute drive from central Pattaya.

Wisdom Valley in Bang Lamung District, Chonburi Province, is located within the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC). The main event area covers 250–350 rai (99–138 acres). The site is well-equipped to host large-scale events, supported by transportation infrastructure, including connections to U-Tapao International Airport (45 minutes away) and Suvarnabhumi Airport (90 minutes away).

Bang Lamung District offers more than 3,500 hotels and accommodations, totaling 66,000 rooms, along with adequate utilities and access to international-standard healthcare services only 20–35 minutes away.

Hosting Tomorrowland in Thailand will enhance the country’s reputation as a premier destination for world-class events. It will highlight Thailand’s potential in infrastructure, transportation, and service standards. It will also increase the country’s chances of being selected as a destination for large-scale international events in the future. (PRD)
