PATTAYA, Thailand – Mayor Poramet Ngampichet welcomed Professor Armando Marques, IFBB President’s Office member representing the International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness (IFBB), along with the Thailand Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation (TIFBB), to discuss preparations for the upcoming Mister Universe Thailand 2025 competition. The event will take place on August 24 at the Royal Cliff Beach Hotel.
The meeting focused on planning and collaboration to promote bodybuilding and fitness sports in Thailand and strengthen ties between Pattaya city and IFBB for future international events. Mayor Poramet thanked the organizing committee for recognizing Pattaya’s potential and expressed his commitment to supporting sports development across all dimensions. He highlighted the city’s goals of fostering cooperation between agencies, stimulating the local economy, and enhancing Pattaya’s image as both a Sports City and a hub for Sports Tourism. Organizers expect the event to attract tourists and fitness enthusiasts from around the world.
