
BANGKOK, Thailand – Muaythai has recently achieved a significant milestone by being officially included in the 2027 International Military Sports Council (CISM) Military World Summer Games in the United States, according to the announcement by Thailand’s Ministry of Culture.
The CISM Military World Summer Games bring together over 10,000 military athletes from more than 140 CISM member nations, competing in up to 28 sports.
The inclusion of Muaythai in the 2027 Games will allow military athletes from around the world to practice Muaythai, giving it even greater recognition globally as an international sport, while demonstrating the Thai martial art and proving its cultural significance. (NNT)
