BANGKOK, Thailand – Bangkok has hosted the 2025 Weibo Gala—Cultural Exchange Night to mark the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and China. The event featured performances from Thai, Chinese, and Korean artists, showcasing music, fashion, and culture.
As part of the program, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) received the “Weibo Thailand Tourism Exchange Contribution Honor.” The award recognized Thailand’s efforts to promote tourism and expand cultural connections with China.
Held under the theme “Harmony · Resonance · Co-Creation,” the gala highlighted long-standing ties between Thailand and China while encouraging continued collaboration in cultural exchange. Each performance and activity underscored the role of art as a bridge between the two nations.
Thai officials used the event to reaffirm Thailand’s readiness to welcome Chinese and international visitors, stressing the nation’s hospitality, cultural appeal, and safety as key to attracting future travelers. (NNT)
