
BANGKOK, Thailand – The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) hosted the BMA MASS Award 2025, with Governor Chadchart Sittipunt presiding. Among the honorees, the National Broadcasting Services of Thailand (NBT) and the National Radio of Thailand received the BMA MASS Inside 2025 Award for outstanding coverage of BMA policies and operations. The award was accepted on behalf of NBT by its director, Supapong Chaolan.
In 2025, 231 media entries were submitted, with 20 winners selected across six categories spanning television, radio, newspapers, and online platforms. The awards were given to recognize the media’s role in reporting on Bangkok’s development and informing the public about ongoing changes in the city.
Governor Chadchart stressed the importance of communication between the BMA and the public, recognizing the media as a key partner in delivering city policies and conveying the voices of residents. He expressed appreciation for their work in strengthening understanding and trust, which supports development efforts that respond to community needs. (NNT)
