‘Power of Culture’ Expo to showcase cultural capital as driver of Thailand’s creative economy

From August 9–17 at QSNCC, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation presents the Power of Culture: Cultural Capital Expo, featuring exhibitions, workshops, and academic showcases that explore how culture and innovation can fuel sustainable economic growth.

BANGKOK, Thailand – The Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation will host the “Power of Culture: Cultural Capital Expo” from August 9 to 17 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC), exploring how cultural capital can be developed into a practical force for driving Thailand’s creative economy.

Held in conjunction with MHESI FAIR 2025, the expo will feature exhibitions, cultural performances, and interactive workshops highlighting the role of local knowledge, innovation, and academic research in shaping new models for sustainable cultural industries. Universities and academic institutions from across Thailand will present case studies, student-led projects, and collaborations that connect culture with economic potential.



Key activities include live demonstrations, art and design showcases, and policy forums where representatives from public and private sectors can exchange ideas on cultural development. Visitors can also participate in hands-on experiences such as creative workshops and technology-enhanced storytelling sessions.
