
BANGKOK, Thailand – A group of foreign diplomats, military attachés, and members of both international and Thai media arrived in Ubon Ratchathani today to take part in a government-led visit to areas affected by tensions along the Thai–Cambodian border.
Jirayu Huangsab, spokesperson for the Prime Minister’s Office and representative of the Ad Hoc Centre for the Thai–Cambodian Border Situation, stated that the visit reflects the Thai government’s commitment to transparency and its readiness to allow international observers to witness the situation firsthand.
The delegation includes diplomatic representatives from several countries, military attachés from more than 20 nations, and a significant number of reporters from both foreign and local media outlets.
Delegates are expected to observe conditions in the affected areas, receive official briefings, and engage with Thai authorities. The government emphasized that the visit is intended to ensure fair reporting and to present an accurate account of the situation to the global public. (NNT)
