PATTAYA, Thailand – Poramet Ngampichet, Mayor of Pattaya, welcomed H.E. Mr. Wilhelm Maximilian Donko, Ambassador of Austria to Thailand, during his official visit to Pattaya City. The purpose of the visit was to explore ways to strengthen tourism cooperation between the two parties. The meeting took place in a friendly atmosphere at Pattaya City Hall’s reception room.
During the discussion, both parties exchanged ideas and information on how to attract more Austrian tourists to Pattaya. Particular emphasis was placed on Pattaya’s strengths — including its strategic location close to Bangkok, ease of travel, and popularity as a long-stay destination, especially favored by Austrian visitors.
The meeting marked an important step in establishing a tourism cooperation network between Pattaya City and the Austrian Embassy in Thailand, aiming to promote future exchanges in tourism and culture.
