BANGKOK, Thailand – The Royal Thai Army spokesperson revealed that the scheduled talks between Thai and Cambodian military commanders have been postponed indefinitely, with no new meeting time set yet, though efforts to arrange the meeting are ongoing, July 29.

Major General Winthai Suwaree, spokesperson for the Royal Thai Army, stated that in the area of the 2nd Army Region, the Thai side including Lieutenant Generals Amarit Boonsuya (Commander of the 1st Army Region) and Boonsin Padklang (Commander of the 2nd Army Region), and the Cambodian side including General Pou Heng (Commander of the 4th Military Region) and General Ak Somon (Commander of the 5th Military Region) have not been able to agree on a meeting date. The originally scheduled meeting at 10:00 a.m. has been postponed with no new time specified, but efforts to coordinate are ongoing. (TNA)
