At the first MPs meeting ahead of the July 3 parliamentary session, Teng rallied the People’s Party members to maintain focus, overcome challenges, and confidently prepare for a landslide victory in the upcoming election.

BANGKOK, Thailand – At the Future Forward building, “Teng”, Nattapong Ruangpanyawut, the party-list MP and leader of the People’s Party, convened the party’s first meeting of Members of Parliament ahead of the upcoming parliamentary session starting July 3rd. During the meeting, Teng motivated his party colleagues by urging them not to lose focus or get tripped up by their own internal challenges. He stressed the importance of working harder than ever before to serve the people.

Teng acknowledged that the party is currently facing strong opposition from entrenched political powers—referred to as the “big houses” that are trying to corner them. However, he expressed firm confidence that despite this pressure, the People’s Party will emerge victorious by winning the public’s trust in the next election by a landslide.

He encouraged all MPs to continue working diligently in their constituencies without waiting for the official election timetable. Teng emphasized that the party will provide full support to all its members, but the MPs must focus all their energy on their work in their areas.

“I ask everyone to stay focused on your duties and not lose concentration on worrying about certain issues, such as how the party will select candidates for the election,” Teng said. “As long as we work with full commitment and maintain discipline as People’s Party MPs, the party will back you fully. We must not trip over ourselves, especially when other parties are stumbling.”

He concluded by expressing hope that if the party remains united and works hard, the level of public trust will increase significantly in the next election, leading to a decisive and overwhelming victory for the People’s Party. (TNA)
