
PATTAYA, Thailand – The Thai Cabinet has officially approved the much-anticipated ‘Co-Pay Thai Travel’ stimulus program, allocating 1.75 billion baht in funding to promote domestic tourism.
Tourism and Sports Minister Sorawong Thienthong announced that public registration opens tonight (June 24), with eligible travel and spending under the program starting July 1.
The scheme will cover up to 50% of hotel, food, and souvenir costs — up to five nights per person, with a hotel subsidy cap of 3,000 baht per night. Travelers will also receive digital coupons to be used at local restaurants, OTOP shops, and tourism attractions.
