BANGKOK, Thailand – Thailand is set to host the “Sawasdee-Ni Hao” mega tourism campaign from 28 May to 1 June to celebrate 50 years of Thai-China diplomatic ties! Over 500 Chinese tour operators and influencers will join Thai businesses to promote top travel experiences across iconic destinations. The campaign aims to boost Chinese tourism, restore traveler confidence, and spotlight Thai soft power through the “5 Must Do in Thailand” experiences.

“With over 13 million visitors so far this year, the government reaffirms Thailand’s readiness as a leading global destination,” said Deputy Government Spokesperson Sasikarn Wattanachan. “Tourism will be a key driver for long-term economic growth—boosting income, revitalizing local economies, and elevating Thai entrepreneurs on the world stage.” (PRD)
